Meet Jonathan Mastin – Health & Wellness Coach

With over 17 years of experience in health, wellness, and fitness coaching, Jonathan Mastin is passionate about helping individuals move better, feel stronger, and live healthier lives. Serving the South Florida community since 2008, Jonathan has worked with clients of all ages and fitness levels, from elite athletes to post-rehab patients and seniors.

His love for movement started early—Jonathan danced for the Miami City Ballet as a child and competed in figure skating and swimming. In college, he was a member of Florida Atlantic University’s ballroom dance team and coached the master’s swimming program. These experiences fueled his curiosity for human biomechanics and movement science, leading him to pursue extensive education in fitness, nutrition, and rehabilitation.

Jonathan holds multiple certifications, including:

  • NASM-CPT (Certified Personal Trainer)

  • NASM-CES (Corrective Exercise Specialist)

  • NASM-CNC (Certified Nutrition Coach)

  • ACSM Certified (American College of Sports Medicine)

  • Advanced Healthcare & Fitness Specialist – ACE

  • Weight Management Specialist – ACE

  • Functional Aging Specialist – Functional Aging Institute

  • TRX – Sports Medicine Certified

  • ViPR, Kettlebell, and Sandbell Certified

In 2011, he attended the inaugural mentorship of the Institute of Motion, where he studied movement science, sleep, cell health, longevity, and fascia. To stay at the forefront of industry advancements, Jonathan has attended the IDEA Health & Fitness Association conference every year since 2009, continuously learning innovative ways to improve training techniques and injury prevention strategies. Jonathan also attended FIU for Dietetics, further expanding his expertise in exercise and nutrition—because he firmly believes that proper exercise and diet are the best forms of preventative medicine.

Jonathan’s goal is to help clients build strength, resilience, and confidence through science-based training methods. Whether you're recovering from an injury, improving performance, or aiming for a healthier lifestyle, he is committed to guiding you every step of the way.
